At Funk's Four-Legged Friends, we specialize in breeding the highest-quality miniature dachshunds. Our adult dogs live indoors as part of the family, and our puppies are raised in the comfort of our living room before being introduced to the great outdoors. We strive to produce pups with exceptional personalities to find them loving forever homes.
About Funk's Four-Legged Friends
Our Story
We always wanted a dapple dachshund. We bought our sweet Piper and then got her a suitable (the most handsome) mate, Trex. We bred them once to see if this was something we wanted to continue and we fell in love with the process. So, or course, we needed more! We know the love and joy these pups bring to our lives, so we want to provide the same to other families.
Our Philosophy
At Funk's Four-Legged Friends, we believe in responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our dogs. We are committed to producing happy, socialized and healthy dachshund puppies that will make great pets for families and individuals alike.
Our Dogs Are Family
Our breeding dogs aren't just part of a program, they're part of our family. They live in our home, sleep on our couches and beds, and fill our days with love. When they retire, they stay right here with us. No rehoming. No selling. Just a lifetime of belly rubs, treats, and being loved the way they deserve.
Our Facilities (aka Our Living Room)
We provide mom and babies a safe, den-like setup in the corner of our living room. As the pups get older, a play pen is put around them with the option to come out and play or reside in their cozy bed. We sleep on the couch during the first 2 weeks of the pup's lives to ensure they are well taken care of by mom. They are introduced to a fenced backyard around 5-6 weeks of age.

All pups will come with limited AKC registration papers. Full rights will be an additional $500.

He is such a sweet boy. He has a white spot on his chest.
He is a smooth coat/shorthaired.
Puppy #3 aka Coco-Nut

She has some of the cutest markings on her body with a little kiss spot right on the top of her head. She has tan markings on her face and a little speckled nose!
I believe she is going to be longhaired.
